Farmers Market 2.0
On Sunday, August 21, Impact Chess hosted its second Trenton Farmers Market event. It was located at the same place as last time, surrounded by restaurants, artists, and, obviously, farmers. Like the last event, this one started at 1 P.M. and ended at 3 P.M.
Although NM Winston Ni was not able to attend, Impact Chess’s founder and president, Eric Wu did. Wu is in the class of 2024 at Phillips Exeter Academy and is a 4-time NJ state grade champion. In total, 15 people came to play chess this time.
In addition to this, Impact Chess also hosts tournaments and other events such as “Chess In The Park”. These occasions help spread the game of chess across communities and also allow players to challenge experts such as Wu. Please visit the “Events” page to learn more about upcoming events!
