April Zhong - Director of Toronto Operations

April is currently in the class of 2026 at the University of Toronto Schools. She was introduced to chess in Grade 4 and won gold in the Ontario Youth Chess Championships the following year. She finished with bronze in the 2019 and 2022 Canadian National Youth Chess Championships and was selected to represent Team Canada in the 2019 and 2022 Pan-American Youth Chess Championships. Outside of chess, April enjoys figure skating, skiing, volleyball, track and field, music, and travelling.
