Updates:

Liam (rising senior):

• Teaching at the same chess club after school at a library

• Elementary school 3-5th graders

• 2 hours every Wednesday

• Planning to expand to other schools in Minneapolis

*incredibly committed!! → promotion to Director of Programs!!!

Eric:

• Busy on weekends - maybe plan something on the weekdays

• Continue Trenton afterschool

Yohan:

• Continuing competitive chess - maybe help the chess club at school…

• Consistently at PPL events

Try to get in the papers! - cold email local newspapers and tell them about what we’re doing, good way to get people to know about us and gain credibility + partnerships

PPL event possibility:

• Tournament - ask a local business to sponsor a small prize (gift cards) - partnership!

Make groupchats with volunteers

Inactive volunteers - email will be sent asking about commitment
