7/26/22 Meeting Notes - First Meeting!
Some people did not show up because of the short notice. Eric said he would set a consistent bi-weekly meeting time.
Introduced Impact Chess declaration
Discussed club overview
Went over Impact Chess website and team along with the list of roles
Advisors
For the most part high ranking chess players have a lot of influence within the chess world. Helps Impact chess gain sponsors with the reputation they bring to the organization.
Administration
President and Vice President, essentially the “executives” of this organization. These people make the majority of the IC decisions and dictate club activities
Locational and Departmental Leaders
This includes state-wide and country-wide directors. Country-wide directors take care of all the operations within the US. State directors will manage their respective states.
Student Leaders
Will assist their respective state or county directors in IC operations

Roles we need to be filled
Web developers to manage and enhance the website
Partnership managers to form connections and gain sponsorships for IC
Nonprofits need sponsorships so we need to begin gaining partners
Gave introductions at the end of the meeting (silly eric!)
